Bidzina Ivanishvili: In case of obtaining the constitutional majority, we will be ready to move the country to a model that will allow us to fulfill our long-standing dream - to see Georgia united and strong again

As years ago, standing before you today, I promise you that after your support, "Georgian Dream", the only guarantor of peace, prosperity and a dignified European future of Georgia, once and for all, will not only end the radical opposition politically, but also the sovereignty and security of the country. One of the main threats, rather, the issue of declaring the "National Movement" unconstitutional will be on the agenda, Bidzina Ivanishvili, honorary chairman of "Georgian Dream", addressed the population of Samtskhe-Javakheti region during a speech at the regional event of the election campaign in Akhaltsikhe.

Ivanishvili spoke about the importance of a convincing victory and promised the public to end violent attempts to bend pseudo-liberal values. He also noted that in case of obtaining the constitutional majority, the ruling team will have the opportunity, at the right time and moment, to transfer the country to a model of constitutional arrangement that will promote the unification of Georgia.

"We promise that in the conditions of a convincing victory in the elections, the violent attempts of foreign countries to impose pseudo-liberal values ​​on our people will end forever in Georgia, we will not allow anyone to insult our faith, culture, history and values, which we grew up with, our children will grow up with in the future.

I firmly believe that with the support of our population, we will win the elections convincingly, but it is important that this victory be so convincing that no one will ever dare to cast even an iota of doubt in the support of the Georgian population for the "Georgian Dream" in order to end once and for all the political chaos that the collective "national Movement" is constantly trying with foreign owners.

As in my previous speeches, I would like to clearly mention to you that in case of obtaining the constitutional majority, my team and I will have the readiness to, at the right time and at the right moment, move the country to a model of constitutional arrangement that will allow us to fulfill our long-standing dream - to see Georgia again united and strong. In addition, immediately after the victory, we will take specific steps for the independence of the Orthodox Church, its strengthening and protection", said Bidzina Ivanishvili.
