The founder of "Georgian Dream", Bidzina Ivanishvili, responds to the statement of the Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia regarding "Credit Suisse".

As stated in the statement, the embassy cannot name the statement of Bidzina Ivanishvili or any other leader of "Georgian Dream", where they accuse the USA or the European Union of financial blackmail.

However, it is said that when they talked about bank account robbery or financial blackmail, they always specified that it was not the US or the European Union that was behind this blackmail, but the forces they referred to as the Global War Party.

The United States Embassy posted a banner with the following content on its official Facebook page: "Bidzina Ivanishvili knows that the money related to Credit Suisse is in the hands of Bermuda and Singapore courts, not America." Why is he telling Georgians a different story?" We considered it appropriate to respond to this banner with a statement.

First of all, it should be noted that the embassy cannot identify either me personally or any other leader of the "Georgian Dream", where we accuse the USA or the European Union of financial blackmail.

When we talked about bank account robbery and financial blackmail, we always specified that it was not the US or the European Union behind this blackmail, but the forces we refer to as the Global War Party. We did not accuse the USA or the European Union of financial blackmail even when "Credit Suisse" used the resolution adopted by the European Parliament as another excuse for not transferring the money. Moreover, we clarified more than once that by Global War Party we did not mean either the USA or the European Union, however, we specified at the same time that the Global War Party has a principled influence on politicians and bureaucrats both in the USA and in the European Union. This is the main reason why, until the end of financial blackmail, I refuse to meet with American politicians and bureaucrats, because the probability of influence of the Global War Party with respect to each of them is very high.

We have explained the reason for our position to our American colleagues in writing, and if the embassy invites us, we are ready to speak publicly about the contents of this letter. In addition, my lawyers have repeatedly disclosed to the public detailed information about the financial restrictions imposed on me since the start of the war in Ukraine, and if necessary, I am ready to release updated information about all this to my lawyers.

We also remind you that the topic of oligarchic influences, informal governance, "Deep State" and the war party in the USA has not been raised by us, and this issue appears to be one of the main lines of the current presidential campaign in America. Presidential candidate Donald Trump, presidential primaries candidates Robert Kennedy Jr. and Vivek Ramaswamy and others are actively talking about this topic.

It is the global war party that is trying to cover the USA and the European Union while acting against the national interests of Georgia and to present the events as if Georgia has a conflict not with it, but with the USA and the European Union.

Against this background, it is the "Georgian Dream" that is the political force that is doing everything to prevent damage to the reputation of the USA and the European Union in the eyes of Georgian society and to give its name to the events. If the Georgian society believes that the US and the EU want to change the government against the will of the people of Georgia and return power to the collective "National Movement", it will cause irreparable damage to the image of both the US and the EU. In such a case, the society will also think that in 2004-2012 Saakashvili's regime was given the green light to establish authoritarianism, falsify elections, kill and torture people, terrorize businesses, appropriate television stations, war and lose territories, not by the Global War Party, but by the US and the European Union. Also, the Georgian society may think that in 2022, the radical opposition, NGOs, and high-ranking officials of the Ukrainian government were calling us to the second front not by the Global War Party, but by the USA and the European Union. Similarly, the Georgian society may also think that in 2020-22, it was not the global war party, but the USA and the European Union that tried to disrupt the country twice.

We do not want to allow public opinion to develop in this direction and we will do everything against it. However, we will need the help of the American side in this.
