The meeting between the 5th President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili and the Executive Director of "Transparency International Georgia", Eka Gigauri, ended in Orbeliani Palace.
As Eka Gigauri said after the meeting, she talked with the President about the election observation process and the decisions of the anti-corruption bureau.
"We talked about our observation mission, that "Transparency International Georgia" observes the elections as a coalition. She wondered what our plans were, how many observers we would have and how we were going to secure the votes.
She was also interested in the decision of the anti-corruption service and then the issues of annulment of this decision.
We were talking about what they were accusing us of illegally and why the decision was changed. The president is ready to do everything so that citizens can vote in a free environment, of course, he will play a specific role in all of this. She is very active, even in terms of ensuring voting for immigrants," said Eka Gigauri.
