According to Ana Natsvlishvili, one of the leaders of "Strong Georgia", "Georgian Dream" created the harshest reality in the country, as a result of which Georgia is deprived of the young generation.
As Natsvlishvili said at the briefing, the state itself admitted that the number of children who were excluded from the educational process in Georgia is a record.
"I want to draw attention to the worst situation that the "Georgian Dream" has created in the country and as a result of which Georgia is empty of people and families. What is most alarming is that children and young people who are supposed to create the future of the country are being deprived of it. The state itself admitted that there is a record number of children who have dropped out of the educational process in Georgia. For example, if in 2021-2022 the number of these children was 8846, in 2022-2023 this number doubled to 14911 children. We are losing Georgian citizens. It is particularly alarming that we are losing the next generation, whose families are forced to emigrate and take their children with them due to the harsh reality in the country," said Natsvilishvili.
According to her, "Georgian Dream" sacrificed children to poverty. According to Ana Natsvlishvili, every fifth child in the country lives in poverty.
"Dozens, if not hundreds, of children in Georgia do not have access to such basic things as, for example, books, drawing tools and others. "Despite the fact that millions of GEL were spent from the budget, the corrupt government has not been able to make children go to their schools for years, they are sent to other schools," said Natsvilishvili.
