President Salome Zurabishvili: Mobilization is key to defeating election fraud

President Salome Zurabishvili emphasized the importance of mobilization as the primary way to combat election fraud, which she claims is being prepared from various sides.

Speaking at a briefing, Zurabishvili urged all citizens to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 26.

She called on each individual to take responsibility for ensuring their vote is counted, especially encouraging people to help their loved ones abroad register and protect their ballots. Observers, she noted, will play a crucial role, and she urged citizens to sign up for training through organizations like My Voice, which coordinates with NGOs to train election observers.

In a special message to young people, Zurabishvili said, "Your future is what is decided on October 26," highlighting their role in safeguarding the election process.

"The defeat of the fraud, which is being prepared from all sides and we see very well, is mobilization—everyone coming to the elections. It is our duty to ensure that not a single vote remains unused, to protect this country, its independence, and its European future," she declared.
