Ana Natsvlishvili: Government change is the only path for Georgia to join the EU

Ana Natsvlishvili, one of the leaders of the "Strong Georgia" party, stated that the only way for Georgia to become a strong state and a member of the European Union is to change the government.

She argued that the current government, which she claims serves Russian interests, should be replaced by one that prioritizes the interests of Georgian citizens.

Natsvlishvili emphasized that the "Georgian Dream" is now in international isolation, citing that three significant European Union events in recent weeks have been focused on Georgia.

"We see that during this month 3 most important events in the European Union are dedicated to Georgia. There will be a hearing today, and a meeting of foreign ministers is also planned. All this indicates that there is no longer any expectation for the current government of Georgia that they will change something for the better. It has already been very openly stated by the top officials of the European Union that not only will they not sit at the same table for negotiations, but they will not even invite "Georgian Dream" to the meetings. This means that the citizens of Georgia have the only chance to join the European Union, which is called the October 26 elections. This is the last opportunity, which I am sure every citizen of Georgia will take with great responsibility, because it is clear that the "Georgian Dream" is in international isolation”, Natsvilishvili said.
