Ana Dolidze: There was no discussion about specific names and surnames - October 26 is for the people to determine who will be the minister and who will be the prime minister

There was no discussion about specific names and surnames. From the beginning to the end, there was a discussion of the process - today we will not present anything. If the people give us strength, then we will sit down and agree on all the candidates, - Ana Dolidze, one of the leaders of "Strong Georgia", told journalists after the meeting with the President.

According to her, October 26 is for the people to determine who will be the minister and who will be the prime minister.

"We obey the Constitution of Georgia, which for the last 100 years says that the source of government is the people. We obey the will of the Georgian people, which will be implemented and will make its own verdict on October 26. We will do and are doing everything according to the will of the Georgian people. Then the government will be chosen not by any politician in the cabinet, including us, but by the voters, the Georgian people at the polling stations. The first thing for us, and it should be for all politicians, is the main principle of democracy, which we don't have today because one man in his palace chooses who should be a minister, who should not be, and who should be the chairman of the department. The main thing for us is to fight against this principle. We want to bring life back to the Constitution and its main provision that the people are the source of power! That's why the whole country is waiting for October 26, so that the principle of one man appoints us from above to change the ministers and appoint the government to the people. October 26 is for the people to determine who will be the minister and who will be the prime minister. We told the president today that we are soldiers of the Constitution, soldiers of the Charter. Today we are all candidates, I am a candidate, Khazaradze is a candidate, after October 26 we have the legitimacy granted by the people and after that we will hand it over to someone. There was no discussion about specific names and surnames. From the beginning to the end, there was a discussion of the process, where the role of the president is important.

We are the soldiers of the Constitution of Georgia. People elect ministers. We cannot repeat what was already introduced by Bidzina Ivanishvili, that a politician sits somewhere and staffs the government. We are fighting against it. It is a democracy that the ministers are elected by the people. We will not present anything today. If the people give us strength, then we will sit down and agree on all the candidates", said Ana Dolidze.
