Regarding the composition of the so-called technical government and the candidate for the position of prime minister, the process of consultations between the president and the representatives of the opposition parties began on October 7. Leaders of "Coalition for Change", "Strong Georgia" and "Unity - National Movement" have already met with the President.
For information, the opposition forces signed the "Georgian Charter" drawn up at the initiative of the President, by which the signatories of the Charter, along with a number of obligations, undertake to fulfill the "conditions written in the Charter before the end of the first spring session, and upon fulfillment, early parliamentary elections will be held in free and fair conditions. The condition that the technical government appointed by the President of Georgia will be responsible for the implementation of this action plan.
According to Salome Zurabishvili, she has already selected a candidate for the position of prime minister who "has high public confidence".
