I ask you a very specific question, if Moldova received 2 billion euros, why did you not bring anything to Georgia? Because you are engaged in anti-Georgian, anti-European work and where do you get it from? - Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of the "Unity National Movement", addressed Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze with this question.
According to Vashadze, the time of "Georgian Dream" being in power is over.
"I want to address Irakli Kobakhidze, Mr. Irakli, Moldova received 2 billion euros from the European Union. I want to ask you a question: what did you do for Georgia to receive this amount?" All this time, they are proving to us that the EU accession negotiations will bring nothing to the country. Were you telling us and giving the example of Moldova, what did Moldova get? - It got 2 billion, why couldn't you bring anything? If I tell you that we can have access to the 1 billion fund and bring it to Georgia, you say no. Has your lie been proven now? I ask you a very specific question, if Moldova received 2 billion euros, why did you not bring anything to Georgia? Because you are engaged in anti-Georgian, anti-European work and where do you get it from? Therefore, your time is up! You should go, we will bring EU membership and 14 billion to Georgia," said Vashadze.
For information, the European Commission received an aid package of 1.8 billion euros for Moldova. The aid package will help the country on its way to the European Union. The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced this during her visit to Moldova, after which the European Commission released detailed information about the assistance.
According to the statement, the European Commission has received a €1.8 billion "growth plan" for Moldova, which is the largest financial assistance package from the European Union in the history of the country's independence.
