In the interests of state security and peaceful coexistence of citizens, we would like to inform the public that, according to the information received, groups related to political circles, in the days before the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia, are planning to distribute falsified video and audio recordings installed through artificial intelligence and other modern technologies, - the state It is stated in the statement released by the security service.

According to State Security Service, "the mentioned fake recordings will use the voices and video images of the representatives of the Georgian government. The purpose of spreading the said false information is to provoke a confrontation between the branches of the government, as well as to bring down the feud between the government and the Orthodox Church and to worsen the relationship between the government and the Western partners.

"The disseminators of the information material obtained as a result of falsification present the fake records they created to the public as information leaked from the State Security Service and assume that by this action they will, on the one hand, discredit the agency, and, on the other hand, create dissonance between the government branches. The main goal of the said provocation is to artificially create and stir up the protest charge, to create foci of destabilization in the country, which will ultimately be used for political purposes."We are carefully monitoring the activities of the mentioned groups and in case of any violation of the law, appropriate measures will be taken according to the law", - said in the statement of State Security Service.
