This is how the former US Ambassador to Georgia, Ian Kelly, responds to the statement of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, that "Georgian Dream" regarding the banning of opposition parties.

"Kobakhidze gives a signal of such a choice, which at the same time changes direction to the opposite and is dangerous - one-party government oriented towards the East instead of Western-style pluralism. This is dangerous because such a dramatic change of direction is unacceptable to the majority of Georgians and will therefore be forced into place," Kelly wrote.
