Grigol Liluashvili on the statement of the State Security Service: This is to warn the people who are involved in this, that if they cross the red line, which is called breaking the law, appropriate measures will be taken

According to Grigol Liluashvili, the head of the State Security Service, the statement of the State Security Service regarding the possible distribution of falsified video and audio recordings by groups related to political circles is a warning that the persons involved in the process "should not cross the red line".

As Liluashvili says, this statement was made for the purpose of prevention.

"This is information that the service has. This was done for prevention, to warn the people who are involved in this that if they cross the red line provided by the law, which is called breaking the law, appropriate measures will be taken. It was a warning to be more careful about this matter. These records are not from the State Security Service, they are from those groups that will try to introduce dissonance into everyday, peaceful coexistence", Liluashvili said.

In addition, Liluashvili answered a question about the possible audio recordings of Bidzina Ivanishvili's wife, which were distributed on the Internet.

When asked who listens to Ekaterine Khvedelidze, Liluashvili said: "Whoever can."

"It was not carried out from our territory", Liluashvili said.

For information, the State Security Service issued a statement stating that "according to the received information, groups related to political circles, in the days before the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia, are planning to distribute falsified video and audio recordings installed through artificial intelligence and other modern technologies."

According to the State Security Service, "the mentioned fake recordings will use the voices and video images of the representatives of the Georgian government. The purpose of spreading the said false information is to provoke a confrontation between the branches of the government, as well as to bring down the feud between the government and the Orthodox Church and to worsen the relationship between the government and the Western partners.
