Levan Davitashvili, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, highlighted Georgia's substantial economic growth and low inflation, describing it as the country's major achievement. He emphasized that few nations can boast such positive results.
Speaking to the media, Davitashvili stressed Georgia’s recent stable economic progress, stating that the country’s macroeconomic indicators, including foreign debt, budget deficit, inflation, and economic growth, are strong and stable.
"We have significant economic growth, and at the same time, low inflation. This is the biggest achievement, and single countries can talk about such results. The National Bank plays an important role in this process, of course, along with the government's economic team. I think that this is an objective indicator, including the work of the leadership of the National Bank," Davitashvili said.
