Shalva Papuashvili: More organizations registering than opposing the "Transparency of Foreign Influence" Law

The Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, announced that the number of organizations registered under the "Transparency of Foreign Influence" law has surpassed those challenging the law.

According to Papuashvili, 144 organizations have registered in the transparency register, which now exceeds the 136 organizations currently appealing the law. He also noted that the registration applications of over 300 additional organizations are still under review.

“To date, the number of organizations registered in the transparency register (144 organizations) has already exceeded the number of organizations that challenge the law on transparency of foreign influence (136 organizations)," Papuashvili stated via social media. He added optimistically, "...and, you can imagine, every morning we wake up again in the beautiful cities and villages of Georgia."
