Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the "Unity - National Movement," stated that Georgia is distancing itself from Bidzina Ivanishvili and "Georgian Dream," predicting they will not secure more than 20% in the upcoming elections.
Vashadze addressed the public following a large-scale march, claiming it demonstrated Georgia's rejection of Bidzina Ivanishvili and the ruling "Georgian Dream" party. He emphasized that the nation's path is aligned with European integration and that the recent gathering exceeded all expectations, further solidifying this shift.
"Yesterday clearly showed us that Georgia is getting rid of Bidzina Ivanishvili. Yesterday clearly showed us that Georgia is winning and we will move towards the European Union very quickly."
According to Vashadze, the massive turnout at the march represented a wave of Georgian identity and national spirit that will sweep away the current regime. He expressed confidence that this movement will translate into a decisive victory on October 26.
"The wave of Georgian identity, Georgian national spirit, will sweep away Ivanishvili and the 'Georgian Dream'. They will not get more than 20% in this election."
Vashadze called on the public to maintain their momentum in the coming days, encouraging citizens to vote in large numbers to ensure the success of this movement.
"In the last days, we should once again encourage each other, hold each other's hands, and finally celebrate the great victory that was yesterday on October 26."
