The constitutional submission of the majority of deputies on the issue of impeachment of President Salome Zurabishvili will be sent to the Constitutional Court today.

The impeachment request document is signed by 81 members of the ruling team.

The Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules discussed and confirmed the validity of the MPs' signatures at today's meeting.

"Georgian Dream" accuses Salome Zurabishvili of violating subsection "a" of Article 52 of the Constitution of Georgia, according to which the President exercises representative powers in foreign relations with the approval of the government.

The majority of "Georgian Dream" is trying to impeach Salome Zurabishvili for the second time. To bring the process to the end, the support of 100 deputies is needed.
