Gia Volski: Zurabishvili's plan was to present herself as the leader of the opposition, but the opposition did not put her in charge - Zurabishvili painted an absurd picture and, of course, this was not allowed to develop

When the elections were approaching, the opposition did not put Salome Zurabishvili on the head and did not give her the opportunity to present her candidacy for the Prime Minister, - said the first vice-speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski, thus responding to Salome Zurabishvili's decision that the candidate for the position of Prime Minister not before the elections, but to submit after the elections.

According to him, "Salome Zurabishvili painted such an absurd picture that was easily deciphered in society".

According to Volski, it was not the opposition, but the society that caused Salome Zurabishvili to withdraw this plan.

"Salome Zurabishvili's plan, the idea was to present herself as the leader of the opposition. When the elections were approaching, of course, the opposition did not put Salome Zurabishvili on the head and did not give her the opportunity to present her candidacy for the Prime Minister. The idea was to provide information to the people, as if a bloody collective "national movement" is not coming, but a technical intelligent government will be the one to rule Georgia for a certain period of time. It was so absurd and unconstitutional, on the one hand, but on the other hand, of course, the reality that the collective "national movement" constantly preached could not be hidden behind this fig leaf. It was easily deciphered, and not the opposition, but society became the reason why Salome Zurabishvili withdrew this plan. It was deciphered in the society in an elementary way, therefore it would be ineffective to say that there will be representatives of different wings of this collective "national movement" in the parliament, but nevertheless, Salome Zurabishvilo will be the only and unique one who will take over the management of the country. He painted such an absurd picture, which was easily deciphered in the society, and of course, it was not allowed to develop. "However, I thought that this issue would be agreed upon and then this collective "national movement" would reveal its dark side, but it didn't happen," said Volski.

For information, the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, announces that she will nominate a candidate for the position of Prime Minister after the elections, because she is "reporting to the four parties" that signed the "Georgian Charter".

The President thinks that a neutral prime minister, who is not a political figure, in the sense that he does not "come from political parties", will make it easier for the parties to reconcile.
