A decision will be made regarding the establishment of benefits - under the conditions of 20% payment, the clinics will be exempted from the full payment of the fine, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced this at the government meeting.

According to him, in the near future, relevant normative documents will be initiated."During the coronavirus pandemic, certain fines were imposed on clinics as a result of inspections. Here, a decision will be made regarding the establishment of benefits, under conditions of 20% payment, the clinics will be exempted from paying the fine in full. For this, relevant normative documents will be initiated", the Prime Minister noted.

In addition, the head of the government explained that the terms of service cost reimbursement for clinics participating in healthcare programs will be significantly reduced. In addition, the payment rules for clinics in the treatment of oncological diseases will be regulated.

"Important changes and reforms are planned in the near future. By the National Health Agency, the terms of service cost reimbursement for clinics participating in health care programs will be significantly reduced. This problem was constantly raised by clinics. Concrete steps will be taken in order to significantly reduce the respective payment terms, a radical reduction is planned. As a result, the effectiveness of reimbursement of the cost of services provided by the clinics and medical personnel participating in the health care program will increase substantially. "Also, the payment rules for clinics in the treatment of oncological diseases will be regulated, which will make the tariff policy clear and fair," said the Prime Minister.
