Salome Zurabishvili: I will present a candidate for the position of Prime Minister, we will see what and when we will agree on it

There are constitutional deadlines, in which terms should the Prime Minister and his/her government be nominated, we must obey it. It will be difficult, there will be conversations, this is democracy, nothing is easy in democracy, - said President Salome Zurabishvili, regarding the Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to her assessment, she took into account the views of the opposition parties regarding the nomination of the candidate for the Prime Minister before the elections.

"The charter stipulates that the President is nominated by the prime minister, but democracy is for us to consider each other. I took into account, in this case, the view of all four parties that this issue should be resolved after the elections. We will talk about it, I will present my candidate, we will see what and when we will agree.

There are constitutional deadlines in which the prime minister and his/her government must be nominated, and we must obey them. It will be difficult, there will be conversations, this is democracy, nothing is easy in democracy, it is much easier to rule by one man and one party, but this is not the easiest and most acceptable thing for the society", said Salome Zurabishvili.
