Unfortunately, there were specific facts of obstruction to voter mobilization, there were also facts of pressure on voters, we understand that high turnout irritates the radical opposition, however, for voters, obstruction of their mobilization is an anti-election event, - head of the election headquarters of "Georgian Dream" , the Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, said at a briefing held at the party's office.

He called on the entities participating in the elections, citizens and representatives of the media to facilitate the holding of the elections in a peaceful situation.

"We are very happy that a high turnout was recorded, more than 320,000 voters have already appeared at the polling stations and acted with high civic responsibility, making their own choice. As you know, voter mobilization is one of the main functions of political parties. It is important that the elections will be held in a peaceful environment and we hope that the election processes will also continue. Unfortunately, concrete facts of obstruction to voter mobilization were recorded. The saddest thing is that such things are often done by journalists. Also, there were facts of pressure on the voter, including the fact that the voter was not allowed to be in his private car in peace and to carry out the activities that he has the right to carry out according to the law. We understand that the high turnout annoys the radical opposition, as well as their media outlets, but obstructing voters and hindering voter mobilization is anti-election, anti-principle, and I urge everyone to ensure a peaceful election environment throughout the day.

In general, we ask all entities, whether it is a political party, a media outlet or any other, to facilitate the conduct of these elections in a peaceful situation as much as possible. This is a very principled election, where it is decided in which direction our country will develop, including whether we will be able to maintain peace or whether the processes will go according to the scenario proposed by the radical opposition for the development of events in our country.
