According to the data available as of 21:00, the election process was again conducted against the background of significant violations. The mission from 15:00 to 20:00 revealed the facts of violation of the secrecy of the voice, physical violence and threats, interference with activities of observers and journalists, agitation, as well as shortcomings related to the use of electronic technologies.

Within the precincts and in the perimeter of 100 meters from the precincts, the registration of voters continued and the gathering of a large number of citizens.The negative attitude towards GYLA observers did not stop throughout the day. GYLA employee/observer Giorgi Gotsiridze was attacked and physically assaulted by a member of the commission in the 4th precinct of Marneuli, and outside the precinct by an unknown person. When reporting the violations in the area, Giorgi Gotsiridze was threatened with physical violence. We call on the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia to respond to the fact immediately.

GYLA is monitoring the parliamentary elections of October 26, 2024 in 55 municipalities, 64 electoral districts and 15 foreign countries through 650 observers. GYLA election mission covers more than 1500 polling stations, which is about half of the total polling stations.
GYLA is represented by both static and mobile observers at the polling station. They monitor the election process from the moment the precincts are opened and will remain in the precincts until the summary protocols of the voting results are drawn up.
