Today will be a very important day. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will come to Tbilisi, trying to strengthen the position of the current ruling party after the election, which was bought by Bidzina Ivanishvili, Ukrainian Rada deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko said in a video address before his departure from Tbilisi.
According to him, Orban was the first to congratulate the ruling party of Georgia before the votes were counted, which is absolutely disgusting.
"Now he is coming here to show international support. I have also not forgotten that Orbán is now the chairman of the European Council. I hope there will be a clear position from the main powers of the European Union that Orbán is not acting in the capacity of the chairman of the European Council, but within his own authority - this is disgusting," said Goncharenko.
He responded to the action planned by the opposition today and noted that the only force that can change the situation now is the people.
"Today, the opposition, together with President Zurabishvili, is starting protest actions. We'll see how today goes. It is obvious that Russia is watching, tracking and trying to influence Georgia. There are many Russian propagandists in Georgia and they support all ruling parties. Now I hope for the Georgian people, this is the only force that can change the situation. The future years of Georgia will depend on what will happen in the coming days. Long live Georgia," Goncharenko said.
