We have very important foreign priorities - naturally, the main priority is European integration! - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze made this statement at the government meeting.

As Kobakhidze pointed out, it is important to develop the country in all directions in order for Georgia to reach the goal of European integration by 2030, for which, according to him, everything will be done.

In this context, Kobakhidze focused on economic growth and as he said, "if the economic indicators are not appropriate, nobody will accept the country in the European Union".

"We are waiting for the reset of relations, which we think will happen from the beginning of next year. We have specific obligations imposed on us by the Association Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement. Our ambitious task is to fulfill more than 90% of these obligations in both directions by 2028. This will ultimately ensure that by 2030, Georgia will achieve the final goal we have set, which is the full integration of our country into the European Union.

For this, it is necessary to develop the country in all directions, including especially economic growth. If the economic indicators are not appropriate, no one will accept the country in the European Union", said Kobakhidze.
