Bidzina Ivanishvili does not have permission to hold fair elections because the future of the Georgian people and their choice hangs on her feet. He prefers to stay in power and earn another two billion, Giorgi Gakharia, the leader of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party, told journalists.
According to him, Bidzina Ivanishvili "stole the European future from us".
"Investigating [election irregularities] is about political will. What do you think, "Georgian Dream" or Bidzina Ivanishvili did not have the resources to hold fair elections? Of course they had. What do you think, they could not do violence against the will of the people? Of course they could. They could hold very good elections. What do you think, Ivanishvili does not have the resources to hold fair elections? has. He has no will. It doesn't because the future of the Georgian people and their choice hangs on their feet. He prefers to stay in power and earn another two billion. This is, nothing more - greed! What our Western partners are doing, they are calling for wisdom, they are calling to the end, and they are doing the right thing. Their clear position of non-recognition of these elections will not only be a "dream" problem, it will also be a problem for the country. This means a political impasse, and this impasse should not be entered and this country should not be entered. That's why I said that the elections are an ideal solution for this country and for the "dreams" to overcome this crisis moment, especially when the possibility of joining the European Union is open and no one will wait for us there for two years. That's why the emotions are very intense. In fact, they didn't steal the elections from us, they also stole the European future from us", said Giorgi Gakharia.
At the same time, Gakharia noted that "the biggest problem for "Georgian Dream" is people's distrust".
The biggest problem of "Dream" today is not whether someone recognizes his election, the Georgian people do not recognize it, they do not trust it. They easily see that we have more than a million votes. People realize that this is an illusion. So they protect this illusion, it's funny. Therefore, if they want trust... but what they will restore, they will not be able to restore anything," said Giorgi Gakharia.
