Citizens gathered near the Parliament blocked Rustaveli Avenue

The citizens, who have gathered near the parliament to protest the results of the elections, blocked Rustaveli avenue.

Opposition leaders did not appear at the parliament. As it is known, recently they started meeting with foreign diplomats. The meeting is taking place at Tbilisi Marriott Hotel.

President Salome Zurabishvili is waiting at the parliament.

Salome Zurabishvili and the opposition leaders called the citizens to come to the rally yesterday, after the consultations held in the Orbeliani Palace.

As the President mentioned at the briefing held yesterday, they will not tolerate the falsification of elections and with today's action they should show the world that they stand together.
