"I think no one expected that on October 27, early in the morning, or late at night on October 26, Ivanishvili would appear on live TV and congratulate you on the victory, congratulate the success of the Georgian state. There was no expectation of this, there was an expectation of how many percent would be written. In the 2024 elections, the main question was not who would enter this parliament and who would have a mandate. The main question that each of us and the Georgian society had to answer was the following: where will the Georgian state be on the geopolitical map? Will we be a Russian swamp and a part of their geopolitical space, or a part of the Western geopolitical space. We all went to the elections because we knew this question had to be answered. The results of the elections were announced and it was found that 270 thousand more Georgians came than in the previous elections and almost all of them supported Bidzina Ivanishvili.
