I understand the desire of a large part of the people to speed up the actions, however, blaming the parties only suits the oligarch's regime, - Mikheil Saakashvili, the third President of Georgia, writes about this on his Facebook page.
Saakashvili calls on active citizens to start protesting in the coming hours and days.
"Who prevents any, even a small group, from protesting themselves and not waiting for the parties. I believe that such active citizens exist and I would like to call on them to start protests in the coming hours and days. Unlike in 2003, social networking now allows for much faster organizing. If only party leaders are in the vanguard of this protest, it will be relatively easy to neutralize them. Mass self-organization and self-initiative is crucial now, let the parties do their work, you do yours. So, don't wait for anyone, don't limit yourself to expressing dissatisfaction on Facebook, come out and oppose the dictatorship! Dictatorship cannot win!" Saakashvili wrote on the social network.
