According to the Chairman of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, some non-governmental organizations can no longer find any arguments to implement their political goals and are struggling with the moss that the Georgian people have seen for a long time. At today's press conference, Papuashvili spoke about the disinformation campaign regarding the elections and noted that this shows how much fraud we are dealing with on the part of some NGOs.
"This is already the third series of the series that the opposition, several millionaire NGOs and their foreign patrons are watching the Georgian people. It is said that history repeats itself first as tragedy and then as farce. Tragically, the history of the so-called rigged elections was repeated exactly 4 years ago. By the way, yesterday was November 3. 4 years ago, on November 3, 2020, that historic meeting took place in the studio of the opposition "Mtavari Arkhi", where they signed a pledge that they would not enter the parliament under any circumstances, then they started and everyone entered. Now it's a farce and repeating itself. Same actors. The same production director. They think that the audience is the same, but everyone understands this farce very well," said Papuashvili.
According to the Chairman of the Parliament, the information spread is disinformation, as if secrecy was violated during the elections. He gave the example of Poland, Bulgaria and Lithuania and noted that in these countries there is a transparent box and the ballot is without an envelope.
"Yesterday, you know that the elections were held in Moldova, which the opposition watched with amazement. We saw a picture of a semi-transparent box, the ballots do not fit in the envelope. That is, what does the "Association of Young Lawyers" think that the presidential elections in Moldova should be canceled? This is what GYLA promises to the Moldovan people? It shows once again how much fraud we are already dealing with on the part of some NGOs, when they can no longer find any arguments for the realization of their political goals, and they are struggling with moss. But the mushroom, which the Georgian people have seen for a long time. This is the problem. Non-governmental organizations, especially those that call themselves the so-called monitoring organizations and operate with foreign funding, were involved in the election campaign, aiming to achieve a specific election result. They were against "Georgian Dream" and now, when this result did not come, they are trying to use their own foreign funding to take away the choice of Georgian, Moldovan, Bulgarian, Lithuanian and Polish voters," Papuashvili said.
He noted that this is precisely the responsibility of donors. According to Shalva Papuashvili, "it is with their money that democracy is being undermined".
