Gia Volski on the map of Georgia: a complaint against the designers can be expressed, a technical malfunction may deserve a harsh remark, but which smart politician would do this on purpose?!

Of course, I disliked the visuals of the map - it is not acceptable for me personally and many of my friends when you have a propagandistic speech, you rely on real facts, and at this time it is not clear on the map that the entire territory of Georgia is outlined, - said the first vice-speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski during the briefing of the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, showed on the "slide" the map of Georgia, on which the occupied regions of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali were perceived as visually difficult.

According to Volski, complaints against the designers can be expressed, "technical malfunction" may deserve a harsh remark, but "it does not reflect the policy that the authorities have."

"It is possible to complain about the designers, and it should be expressed, but the main thing is that the people who make the loudest, most rigid statements on this topic are guilty of the occupation of the territories and the fact that many people lost their lives, today it is these people who are coming out and saying how If it wasn't clearer on the map...

They also know full well that gray is perceived poorly on screen and may not show up, which is disappointingly a mistake, but what sane politician would do that on purpose?! All the more to speak of people who occupied these territories themselves and gave Russia the opportunity to have an advantage in the South Caucasus.

They took treacherous steps, they are guilty that we have such a situation today, and whether the gray is well perceived by the camera or not is the second part," said Gia Volski.

For information, during the briefing of the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, the occupied territories were marked in gray on the map shown on one of the slides, because "Georgian Dream" did not have delegates in these territories. In the circulated footage, the map of Georgia was perceived without the occupied territories - Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions.
