68 complaints have been submitted to the court, 64 of the filed lawsuits are the lawsuits of "NGOs" - we see that a few millionaire NGOs financed from abroad have announced the fight for Georgian democracy, - Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said in connection with the election lawsuits filed by opposition parties and non-governmental organizations.
According to him, non-governmental organizations are trying to disrupt the elections and, according to him, they want the government to be selected according to their will.
"68 complaints have been submitted to the court, 64 of the filed lawsuits are NGO lawsuits, the rest are "Lelo", which is requesting lists.
When there are election disputes, election subjects dispute about it because it concerns parties and their votes, it turned out that our parties do not go to court and NGOs funded 100% from foreign countries are engaged in undermining the elections.
This also allows us to conclude what we are dealing with. We saw this when these millionaire NGOs, which are fully financed from abroad, were engaged in an election campaign in Georgia, and now we see that these millionaire NGOs are trying to disrupt the Georgian elections and take away the votes of 1,120,000 voters who belong to the "Georgian Dream". I am in favor of taking away the votes from the opposition voters as well and choosing the authorities according to their will.
This is also a conclusion that the opposition does not complain about anything, they had a total of 4 complaints, out of which they took three in the appeal, they refused one. Basically, we see that the fight against Georgian democracy was announced by several millionaire NGOs financed from abroad", said Shalva Papuashvili.
