Prime Minister: Charles Michel was interested in how things are developing in Georgia - I told him what the situation is today, including that it is very difficult for the opposition to mobilize people

I had a very friendly, constructive conversation with Charles Michel, he was interested in how things are developing in Georgia, - Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze told Georgian journalists in Hungary.

As the Prime Minister noted, he provided Charles Michel with information on current events in Georgia.

"I told Charles Michel what is the situation in Georgia today, among other things I also told him that it is very difficult for the opposition to mobilize people, the opposition does not have public support. Under such conditions, I think that things will go much easier than they did 4 years ago. The opposition has no resources. In this case, he has much less resources than he had 4 years ago.

As for our attitude - I once again repeated with Charles Michel that we are absolutely open to any discussion, we are absolutely flexible. We have indicated our readiness for discussions to Charles Michel and this is our open position," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
