Nika Gvaramia: the current government will never find a place among the leaders of the civilized world because it is part of Russia

The current government of Georgia will never find a place among the leaders of the civilized world because it is a part of Russia, just as Putin will not find it, neither will his continuations, including in Georgia. Zelenskyy will never find a common language with Kobakhidze, whose party built its pre-election campaign on the trauma and tragedy of Ukraine and displayed it on banners. These people are the ones who no longer shake hands, and it is impossible for European Georgia to have a government that is simply not greeted by anyone, Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the "Coalition for Change", said while assessing the meetings of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, held in Budapest.

As Gvaramia noted, Kobakhidze's place was not found next to the French and German leaders, and at yesterday's meeting, he was "assigned" to the European oligarch and the leader ostracized by everyone - Fico.

"The conversation with Charles Michel was just a few minutes - when the government talks about the actions of the opposition, it already means its immaturity, but we saw yesterday that our Prime Minister (it's a shame that I have to refer to him that way) should sit among the highest officials of France and Germany, the man who was transferred With the oligarch of Europe and the oath ostracized by everyone, there was an invitation, also by the authoritarian recognized by everyone in Europe, Orban. "The current government of Georgia will never find a place among the leaders of the civilized world, because it is part of Russia," said Gvaramia.

He also spoke to journalists about the details of the meeting of the opposition leaders with the EU ambassador.

"The meeting was very important for me, for my colleagues, Tina Bokuchava and Badri Japaridze. I think the ambassador is very well informed, although we still provided information, this information was not only about violations, because it is already very well known to everyone, including the EU, what was happening and how. We have made our proposal for an international investigation or assessment mission, no one should forget that the fourth point of our recommendations is free and fair elections, so the European Union has every right, legal and political prerequisite, to study this recommendation to what extent it was fulfilled in these elections, it is clear to everyone that Not done, but research and specific documentation would be useful to reveal the full picture. We also told them about our plans that it is impossible to enter the parliament, the parliament will not have legitimacy in this regard, there will be protests, much more large-scale and much more result-oriented, what is happening today is just the beginning. We wanted the ambassador to know this, and we also told him that we are not in the mood to allow our position or the position of the Georgian people to be used in any way to get closer to this government, to achieve some stability, etc. Stability is in European countries, this government is Russian, so we will not stop until our demand is met. Our demand is clear - new elections and a peaceful transfer of power.

We received an answer that there is a real possibility of this [international investigation] depending on what kind of communications we have. As you know, the ambassador is a conduit of information between the center and the place where he is, and we really intend to present this information not only as evidence, but also as a justification why it needs to be studied and how the only solution is new elections and therefore a new parliament.

Consultations with diplomats will continue, but not only in Georgia, but also in Brussels and Washington.

The government will report on the demand of the Georgian people, it will be forced to do it, what they will agree with and what they won't, this issue is not and cannot be decisive. They will have to agree to the will of the Georgian people," Gvaramia said.
