The elections are over. In the near future, the results of the elections will be summarized by the CEC. After that, the first meeting of the Parliament will be held very soon, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

According to the Prime Minister, the highest quality elections were held in Georgia.

"The first meeting of the Parliament will be held by the end of the month. After that, the composition of the government will be formed in a few days. This is the agenda that naturally our country will live by. As for the opposition, they are trying to create a parallel agenda, but they will not succeed. 4 years ago, they had a kind of successful attempt to shift the development of our country and related processes to another agenda. Do you remember the departure of the country from the constitutional framework, the sabotage of the parliament, the famous April 19 agreement. Today there is no resource for that. The processes will continue as usual, the first session of the Parliament will be held as usual, and the government will be given a vote of confidence. This is the agenda with which the processes will develop", said Kobakhidze.

According to the Prime Minister, the opposition claimed to its supporters that it was winning the elections, but today they are justifying themselves.

"The opposition proved to its supporters that they won the elections and today they have to justify themselves. This is a form of self-righteousness. Talking about non-existent fraud is a form of self-righteousness. Actually, you know that our difference with the second place party is more than 890 thousand votes. At such a time, talking about fraud is simply laughable. At first they started talking about 300,000 votes being falsified, there was no basis for this. Then they came down to 200,000 when they saw that they were talking about excessive numbers," said the Prime Minister.

He also noted that the quality of the elections held in Georgia was much higher than the elections in the USA and Moldova.

"In reality, the highest quality elections were held. Take the same Moldovan, US elections. Qualitatively, the Georgian elections far exceeded the elections in both countries. Since 2012, we have established the practice of holding democratic elections in this country. This is the practice that we are particularly careful about," said Kobakhidze.

In addition, according to the Prime Minister, the opposition will enter the parliament.

Kobakhidze added here that neither their entry nor their non-entry has any value, because the opposition does not have any resources to bring any benefit to the parliamentary life.

"Of course, their activities will be destructive from beginning to end. Neither their entry nor their non-entry has any value - if they do not enter the country, there will be more peace in political life, although we will protect the peace no matter what," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
