Salome Zurabishvili: There is a crisis and our friends are here to see the ways Georgia can defeat this crisis

The crisis is facing us and our friends are here to see if we can find the ways by which Georgia can get out of this crisis - the country will get out of this crisis in a fair way, we will return to new elections so that Georgia gets a legitimate parliament, - said the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili.

According to her, the Georgian society is truly European, although the government is not democratic.

"This is a country where the society is truly European, democratic and, unfortunately, which does not have a democratic government, which has a one-party government that has practically taken over the institutions of this country, and we got results in these elections. This is a one-party managed election, with other help, but a single-party managed and one-party rigged election. That is why we are entering a crisis.

Based on the statements of the head of the Central Election Commission, it is clear what decision he will make. There can be no surprises here. The crisis is upon us and our friends are here to see with us, to find the ways that Georgia can get out of this crisis and out of this crisis only at some point and in some way, in a fair way, we will get new elections for Georgia to get a legitimate parliament, a legitimate government. This is our way. Our path is the path of stability, democracy and Europe. There is no other way for Georgia and our friends who are here are deeply convinced of this with us," said Zurabishvili.
