Irakli Kobakhidze meets with Ilham Aliyev

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, met with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.

The government administration disseminates the information. According to them, the face-to-face meeting was held in Baku within the framework of the 29th UN Climate Change Conference.

"The parties discussed the issues to be discussed at the conference and the strategic partnership of the two countries. They emphasized the successful cooperation in various fields and the role of joint projects of regional significance for the development of the countries and the region.

During the meeting, attention was also paid to the security challenges in the region. The parties have confirmed their readiness to help ensure peace and stability in the region as much as possible.

"Irakli Kobakhidze invited Ilham Aliyev to Georgia for an official visit," the information said.
