Irakli Kobakhidze: Gvaramia claimed that he had mental problems, although he was treated and overcame them - it turns out that he did not solve any problems

Gvaramia claimed that he had mental problems, but he was treated and overcame the condition. It turns out that ... I mean absolutely seriously - it actually turned out that no problems have been solved, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists about the leader of the "Akhali" party, Nika Gvaramia.

In addition, Irakli Kobakhidze spoke about the statements of the opposition in general, according to which the parties that have crossed the threshold will not enter the parliament of the new convocation.

"You remember four years ago they had the same attempt and they had some success because then we were forced by external interference to enter into negotiations, to sign the April 19 agreement. Now they don't even have the resources for it, so these processes will be carried out very easily. The CEC will summarize the results of the elections in the near future, then the first meeting of the parliament will be held by the end of the month, and after that, the new composition of the government will be approved in a few days. Most likely, it can be witnessed by the end of the month. These processes will take place very calmly", Kobakhidze said.

According to him, the support of the public is on the side of the government, the ruling team, and on the side of the opposition there is zero public support and that is the main thing.

"They tried to achieve some success on the street, but success in the elections and success on the street require the same resource, which is the resource of society, which they do not have. The opposition as a whole is trying to go against the constitutional arrangement, although this is a very weak attempt, they have no arguments regarding the elections. You could see that the pre-election period was unprecedentedly calm and the election environment was competitive, this environment was absolutely free. As for the day of the elections, the elections were held electronically, more than 90% of voters registered electronically, voting was done electronically, and votes were counted electronically. Under such conditions, there were not even unbalanced protocols, which was a 30-year problem. This election did not even have such flaws. Actually, "Georgian Dream" received public support, everything else is empty speculation, which has no basis. They could not present any facts/ the only case was in Marneuli district where the ballots were stuffed, and even there the response was immediate," said Kobakhidze.
