Tamar Kordzaia to Iveri Abashidze: you are a lifelong judge, I am a member of the Parliament of the convocation that supported the lifelong appointment of judges, and today I hope that I will not regret it

You are the lifelong judge. I am a deputy of the Parliament of the convocation that supported the life-term appointment of judges, and today I hope that I will not regret it, - addressed Tamar Kordzaia, a member of the "Unity National Movement", to the judge of the Tbilisi City Court, Iveri Abashidze.

At the session, three joint lawsuits related to the results of the October 26 elections will be discussed. On one side of the dispute, Tamar Kordzaia represents "Unity - from the National Movement".

On the other hand, judge Iveri Abashidze replied to Kordzaia that the court is not a political tribune, and similar statements can be made outside. Tina Bokuchava, the chairman of "Unity - National Movement", is also present at the session, who appealed to the judge not to "fulfill a political task".

The judge told Bokuchava not to interfere with the session, otherwise the court would have to take appropriate measures.

"What prevents you from justifying election fraud? And we warn you not to allow Ivanishvili to steal the elections", Bokuchava appealed to the judge.

"Don't warn me, don't insult me!"Judge Iveri Abashidze answered the politician.

For information, joint lawsuits of "Strong Georgia", "Unity - National Movement" and GYLA are being considered in the Tbilisi City Court. All three lawsuits refer to the results of the October 26 parliamentary elections, whereby the parties requested the annulment of the administrative legal acts.
