The fact that our supporters were so mobilized on the day of the elections was largely due to foreign interference, the dignity of our society was touched by such interference, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said about this on the air of the Public Broadcaster in connection with the participation of the chairmen of the foreign relations committees of the eight countries of the European Union in the opposition rally.

According to the Prime Minister, their visits are designed to strengthen the opposition, although such interventions have the opposite function for them.

"Thanks to them, they came even before the elections, and our experts, who helped us analyze the studies, told us that such rude interference in our electoral and political processes had a counterproductive effect on them. The fact that our supporters were so mobilized on election day was largely due to foreign intervention. The dignity of our society was affected by such interventions. As for the post-election period, with such visits, with such interventions, they mobilize our supporters even more, because they touch the dignity of our society. In the end, all this weakens the opposition even more. Of course, their visits are designed to strengthen the opposition. They see that they have not been able to gather people around the opposition and they want to strengthen the opposition and gather more people, but such visits and interventions, on the contrary, have the opposite function for them," said Irakli Kobakhidze in the program "Actual Topic", whose statement was published by the press service.
