Nika Melia on the idea of "People's Parliament": I am not familiar with this initiative, however, any initiative that will serve to overthrow the regime will be considered by us

I am not familiar with this initiative in particular, however, any initiative that will serve to bring down the regime will be considered by us - this is how one of the leaders of "Coalition for Change" Nika Melia responded to the idea of "Strong Georgia" regarding the creation of "People's Parliament".

As Melia noted, now the goal of the opposition is to "shake the regime until it collapses."

"All those steps, mechanisms, ideas, opinions, which will be rational, pragmatic, focused on the result and goal, which will defeat the authoritarian, oligarchic regime of "Georgian Dream", are worth considering. I am not familiar with this initiative in particular, however, any initiative that will serve to bring down the regime, to defeat the government that seized power as a result of fraudulent elections, will be considered by us.

Our goal is to shake Ivanishvili's regime until it collapses," said Melia.

For information, Mamuka Khazaradze published a 5-point plan to achieve new elections, among them is the formation of the "People's Parliament" by the members of the parliament elected from the opposition side and the invitation of the president as the chairman.
