23 organizations: "Georgian Dream" should not gain legitimacy - not a single member of the opposition party should enter the parliament!

The "Georgian Dream" in power should not gain legitimacy within the country. For this, it is necessary not to reconcile with the results of the stolen elections - it is necessary to coordinate the actions of the opposition forces. No member of the opposition party should enter the parliament! - This is stated in a joint statement issued by 23 non-governmental organizations.

As mentioned in the statement, the reaction of the international community will be the same as the intransigence of Georgian citizens towards the hijacked elections.

"The elections of October 26 were conducted using a criminal scheme of intimidation, coercion, total control, mass violation of vote secrecy, violence and bribery of citizens. "Georgian Dream" rigged the elections. The result announced by the CEC does not reflect the will of the citizens. It was not an election because it was not secret, free and fair.

In this situation, we understand that many in the public may be disappointed, but it is necessary to know what we have achieved so far: observation missions and civilian observers have been able to collect evidence. We have filed with the election administrations and the courts and will continue the legal battle. In this process, the real face of the election administration and judicial power was once again presented. The very fact that none of the complaints were satisfied adds additional question marks to the legitimacy of these elections; If it were not for the mobilization and high activity of citizens on the election day, who voted for the European future of Georgia at the risk of losing their jobs, social assistance, and security, the government would have falsified more votes and "formalized" the announced constitutional majority. Therefore, our activity and participation in the elections had a great importance.

Most importantly, pro-Russian forces did not win in Georgia. "Georgian Dream" starts this best. Despite the unprecedented disinformation, pressure and control, a large part of the population chose the European path of Georgia and refused to integrate Georgia into Russia.

"Georgian Dream" is not able to legitimize the results of the conducted elections neither in the eyes of its international partners nor its own citizens. All this is thanks to civilian observation and evidence obtained by the media. "Georgian Dream" could not even celebrate "victory".

The democratic world does not congratulate "Georgian Dream" on its victory. They do not recognize the elections as free and fair. After the elections, coordination processes between different groups began in the society. An agreement was reached on the common demand, in particular, to schedule new free elections.

What we must do: The goal of all of us is to achieve new, fair and free elections. Agreement on this goal is essential among all groups in society; The "Georgian Dream" in power should not gain legitimacy within the country. For this, it is necessary not to reconcile with the results of the stolen elections, to refuse to cooperate with the "so-called government" in all formats; There should be international isolation of the political force that gained power through crime; For this, work must be continued to maintain and strengthen international non-recognition; Observing organizations express their readiness to provide the technical mission of the European Union with documented evidence of election violations, to meet witnesses; It is important for the international community to inform the identity of those persons who carried out Bidzina Ivanishvili's illegal orders regarding the hijacking of elections. The international community should take concrete decisions against those persons who helped Ivanishvili to rig the elections and implement fraud schemes; It is necessary to coordinate the actions of the opposition forces and communicate a unified request to recognize the elections as illegitimate and hold re-elections, both within the country and with international partners; Opposition parties that do not recognize the legitimacy of the elections should not participate in the work of the parliament. No member of the opposition party should enter the parliament; It is important to coordinate with the President of Georgia. The president has repeatedly said that he will continue to use his contacts to increase international pressure and demands. We welcome the President's presentation of his vision of the development of events on November 18; Society's activity and mobilization is necessary. Peaceful mass mobilization and protest demands should be aimed at re-elections; Citizens, our plan of action is to stand up to these protests. This is the biggest thing we will do. People were criminally deprived of their power, we must regain constitutional rights, restore constitutional order.

We must remember that the international community's response will be the same as the intransigence of Georgian citizens towards the hijacked elections. No one will fight for us, but they will stand with us if we don't put up with hijacked elections and a stolen European future. Only common national reconciliation and coordination among all groups is the way that should lead to re-election. And we will definitely get this with our unity, non-reconciliation and fair protest!" - said in the statement.
