Elene Khoshtaria: our representative is in the Central Election Commission and is addressing the CEC that we are canceling the list

The political union "Coalition for Change" applies to the Central Election Commission with a request to cancel the lists.

As one of the leaders of the party, Elene Khoshtaria, said, there is no person in the party who "set foot in this parliament".

"The gathering that took place today in the parliament building has nothing to do with the government of Georgia, because the source of the government is the people. This is regulated by the constitution and elections, which were completely trampled and against the will of the people. Therefore, no matter how many times they meet, this gathering cannot be recognized as power.

At this particular moment, I would like to formally announce, on behalf of the "Coalition for Change", that at the moment our representative is in the CEC and, in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 120 of the Election Code, addressing the CEC that we are canceling our list, we do not recognize the elections, we do not intend to have any relationship with this parliament And none of us will set foot in this parliament", said Khoshtaria.

In addition, as one of the leaders of "Coalition for Change", Zurab Girchi Japaridze explained, procedurally, the lists should be closed first, and after that, all individual statements about leaving the mandate of the deputy are written.

"Procedurally, the lists have yet to be completed, for which the application must already be submitted to the CEC. After that, individual statements are written for those for whom they subscribe mandates. The procedure is as follows, first the list is canceled and then everyone writes the statement individually", said Zura Japaridze.
