According to the government program presented to the parliament by the Prime Minister candidate Irakli Kobakhidze for the vote of confidence, Georgia, in accordance with Article 78 of the Constitution, continues the irreversible path of Euro-Atlantic integration.

The government program "Only with peace, dignity and prosperity to Europe - 2025-2028" also states that in the coming years, Georgia's neighborhood policy will be conducted in a balanced manner and will be based on the principles of territorial integrity protection, sovereignty, good neighborliness, strengthening of security, promotion of peace and stability in the region.

According to the same document, Georgia continues unwaveringly to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine within its own capacity and full diplomatic support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"Georgia, in accordance with Article 78 of the Constitution, continues the irreversible path of Euro-Atlantic integration. For this, Georgia:

Unremittingly continues the implementation of the Association Agreement, in accordance with the annual action plan, through both legislative and institutional rapprochement with the European Union; manages cooperation with the European Union within the framework of the Georgia-EU institutional dialogue (Association Council, Association Committees and Subcommittees, etc.);

Will proactively identify relevant EU legal acts and monitor the process of convergence with them. ensures registration of information on legal convergence in a single electronic database;

Will create an EU Law Center, which will promote the EU integration process and raise awareness of EU law with the involvement of educational institutions, experts in the field, and representatives of academic circles;

In order to integrate into the European Union, it will actively use the tools and formats of cooperation within the framework of the "Eastern Partnership", as well as the opportunities provided by other regional projects and programs of the European Union;

Will continue efforts to start EU accession negotiations; will use all means of communication with European partners and will try to remove existing artificial barriers with them;

Will strengthen efforts in the direction of accelerated infrastructural integration in the European Union. will actively work for the implementation of the flagship initiatives presented within the framework of the economic and investment plan, first of all, projects to strengthen the connectivity on the Black Sea, including through the construction of the port of Anaklia and a marine terminal capable of serving both cargo terminals and passengers in this port; will continue technical-economic studies to accelerate the process of physical integration to prepare new economic or infrastructural projects; For this purpose, it will try to effectively use the growing opportunities of the "Middle Corridor";

Will activate efforts aimed at integration into the European single market; In order to achieve further progress in the mentioned directions, the reforms stipulated by the deep and comprehensive free trade agreement will be implemented, the work will continue with the involvement of relevant state agencies and EU services in all relevant formats;

Will continue to make efforts to use the opportunities of the enlargement package and gradually involve it in various cooperation mechanisms and initiatives of the European Union;

Will continue to cooperate with the EU in order to promote world peace and ensure global security, and will also consider the possibility of its participation in peacekeeping missions within the framework of the EU's Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP);

Will continue close cooperation and experience sharing with other candidate countries of the European Union, in order to ensure high readiness for the next stages of integration and effective implementation of relevant reforms;

Will continue efforts to carry out reforms necessary for EU membership; For this purpose, Georgia will implement the action plan approved by the government commission for EU integration;

Continues the effective use of the format of the NATO-Georgia Commission as one of the most important instruments of political dialogue and practical cooperation with the Alliance;

Will continue to develop and implement the annual national program;

Continues to implement the package of Tailored Support Measures adopted at the 2022 Madrid Summit, including through the implementation of the updated NATO-Georgia Essential Package;

Will continue cooperation with the Alliance within the Individually Tailored Partnership Program (ITTP);

With the status of "Enhanced Opportunity Partner" (EOP) continues to participate in various important formats held in the alliance;

Will work to be represented at the appropriate level in NATO summits, foreign affairs and defense ministries;

Continues to consult with the Alliance regarding the security of the Black Sea, by analyzing the situation in the region and sharing information;

Will contribute to the strengthening of the defense capabilities of the Georgian Defense Forces, bringing them even closer to NATO standards and ensuring sustainability;

Will hold active consultations with the member states of the alliance on the issue of Georgia's integration into NATO, in order to support the decisions reflected in the political documents of the organization," the government program submitted to the parliament says.
