The questioning was completed in the presence of the representative of the monitoring mission "My Voice", former public defender, magistrate judge Nino Lomjaria.
As Lomjaria stated in the Tbilisi City Court, after coming out of the interrogation, she handed over all the evidence at her disposal to the investigative agency. However, the former public defender has a feeling that "she is an investigator and she is asked to prove that the elections were rigged."
"He started testifying freely, I told him what I had to say, all the assessments I made, what they were based on, what evidence and all the materials I had with me. The questions were, do we know who the specific people are, the names and surnames, the violators, who voted instead of others, to which my answer was as follows, the complaints, which we have left, describe in detail in which precinct a particular violation took place, who was the observer there, who was the alleged Violator. Evidence includes witness statements, complaints, additional materials, publicly distributed video evidence. Complaints are written in such a way, each complaint is accompanied by additional evidence, a corresponding link is indicated, where the prosecutor's office, the investigative body can find out whether there is additional evidence, I transferred the relevant photo and video evidence with a flash drive, as well as hundreds of complaints from our observers, we left everything.
I got the impression that I am an investigator and they are asking me to prove that the elections were rigged. At this point it should be the other way around, they are investigators and their interest should be to respond to all information in a timely manner. I think we presented more evidence than the monitoring organization ever had," said Lomjaria.
