Today the seats of the opposition are empty, although it must be said that if they were sitting here today, these seats would be exactly as empty as they are today, - said Prime Minister candidate Irakli Kobakhidze at the plenary session of the Parliament, while presenting the government program.

Kobakhidze thanked the society for granting mandates.

"You know where they wanted to return our country, what the forces that tried to retake power represent. Their signature during the 9 years they were in power was torture of people, murder, systematic business racketeering, hijacking of media, war, loss of country's territories, etc. This is only an incomplete list of crimes that these people have committed. Of course, in theory, their return to power would mean the return of everything we were talking about, and the society naturally did not allow this.

Unfortunately, these people are still called the opposition. Their chairs are empty today, although it must be said that if they were sitting here today, those chairs would be just as empty as they are today. I want to thank the Georgian people once again. It was the Georgian people who gave us the mandate to take care of the stable and peaceful development of our country for the next 4 years", said the Prime Minister.
