Diplomats of all countries, who are in Georgia and represent their own country, are obliged to respect the state in which they are represented. Their activities should be aimed at deepening the relationship between the countries and not at digging the bottom, - the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Bochorishvili, said while talking about the German ambassador.
As Bochorishvili explained, when it comes to relations between partners, these relations should be based on mutual respect, friendly relations between countries.
"When we talk about strategic partners, it is important that the relations between the partners from both sides are aimed at loading the content of the strategic partnership, deepening the bilateral relations and not digging the foundation.
Diplomats of all countries, who are present in Georgia and represent their own country, are obliged to respect the state in which they are represented. Their activities should be aimed at strengthening and deepening the relationship between the countries, and not at digging the bottom. It is a pity when we see that the diplomats are acting on the contrary and not to promote the strengthening of the relations between the countries", said Bochorishvili.
For information, "Georgian Dream" MP Irakli Zarkua appeals to the Minister of Foreign Affairs to take an interest in the work of the German ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, and to start the procedure for recalling him from the country.
