Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mikheil Janelidze, appeals to public officials that it is time to make decisions.
"I never address public officials with whom I have worked for many years and I respect them a lot, but today I want to address you: I know you do not believe that you will be able to serve Georgia's European future and other national interests in this political situation. It's time to make decisions," wrote Janelidze on Facebook.
It should be reminded that the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, made a statement on the issue of negotiations with the European Union after the meeting of the parliamentary majority and the government team. In particular, according to the ruling team's decision, Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. According to the Prime Minister, Georgia also refuses any budget grant from the European Union until the end of 2028.
