Giorgi Vashadze: today, from 19:00, we will meet again at Rustaveli, fight until victory

Today, at 19:00, another protest rally will be held on Rustaveli Avenue. Giorgi Vashadze, one of the leaders of "Unity - National Movement", is spreading the information about this on the social network.

"Today, from 19:00, we will gather again at Rustaveli, fight until victory," Vashadze wrote.

We remind you that on November 28, protests began in Tbilisi after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the decision of the ruling team that Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. The participants of the rally gathered in two locations in Tbilisi - on Gorgasli Street, near the office of "Georgian Dream" and on Rustaveli Avenue, near the parliament building. Later, the rally converged in front of the Parliament, where the situation between the law enforcement officers and the participants of the rally became tense many times. Around 2:00 am, after warning the demonstrators, the police started to break up the rally on Rustaveli Avenue. The special forces used water cannons against the protesters several times.

It is not yet known how many people were arrested and how many were injured during the protest.
