The President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, appeals to her compatriots living in Europe and America to clearly express their position regarding "Russian-style special operations" in Georgia.
As the President writes on the social network, silence is no longer possible.
"Compatriots living in Europe and America! Acquaintances or strangers, you will be addressed! Wake up!
It's time to clearly express your position regarding these brutal, merciless Russian-style special operations, suppression of free expression... Silence and pretending nothing is happening in the homeland can no longer be done! Europe is good, but it's only for you, it won't work! Not to Europe with dignity, but to live with dignity is the main thing and to really stay with yourself!
Express your position - in the press and televisions, with embassies or even on social networks, or come and stand by the future of your country.
P.S. This clearly does not apply to those people who joined the protest from outside and stood near the embassies," the president said.
