Mikheil Saakashvili: The USA protected us from Russia's attack and saved Georgia in 2008 - now, when the strategic partnership was terminated, we remain defenseless against Russia

We remind you that the USA protected us from Russia's attack and saved Georgia in 2008. Now, when the strategic partnership has been terminated, we remain without protection in the face of Russia, - this is how the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, responds to the decision of the United States of America to suspend the strategic partnership with Georgia.

As he explains, the strategic partnership with USA was signed during his presidency on January 9, 2009.

"I would like to remind you that the USA protected us from the Russian attack and saved Georgia in 2008. Now, when the strategic partnership has been terminated, we remain defenseless in the face of Russia", Saakashvili writes.
