We are not asking for a revolution, we are asking for re-elections, but under conditions that ensure that the will of the people will not be misrepresented and stolen again, - said the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili in an interview with The Associated Press.
According to her, the international partners of Georgia should support the peaceful demand of the population of Georgia - new elections.
"As for what our partners can do, first of all they can be very clear in not recognizing [the election results], which they are already doing, they can take measures and it is up to them to choose what measures they will take against those who are depriving Georgia of the right to elect a democratic government. And they should support the peaceful demand of the population of Georgia - new elections. We are not asking for a revolution, we are asking for re-elections, but under conditions that ensure that the will of the people will not be misrepresented and stolen again," the President said.
